Forcing the YardsTech® Scales into WiFi Hotspot mode. Print

Regardless of how the YardsTech® Scales have been configured, you can always force it into WiFi hotspot mode (access point mode) by following these simple instructions:

1. With the unit powered down, press and hold the power button.

2. The red activity LED will come on ... continue to press and hold the power button.

3. The red activity LED will turn off and the blue "Comms" LED will light. Release the power button.

If the unit is in hotspot mode the red activity LED will flash and the blue "Comms" light will remain on.
